A family's guide to childhood cancer
With the video series "A family's guide to childhood cancer" with Dr. Johannes Wimmer, KiTZ would like to provide affected children, adolescents and their families with a video guide and accompany them.
KiTZ is producing a total of roughly 100 videos in collaboration with Johannes Wimmer on the topic of cancer in children and adolescents. The videos answer questions about the most important basics of cancer in young patients, as well as established treatment methods and new therapies. Affected families also receive care tips, e.g., on nutrition, catheter care, and psychosocial issues. All videos are published on the KiTZ YouTube channel and are available in German and in English - other language options might be explored using the subtitle translation .
